Thoughts on applying to multiple SA's? I have a desire to serve my country and attend an SA but I do not know if I should apply to all SA's. (If that would be smart due to need of a nomination)

Thoughts on applying to multiple SA's? I have a desire to serve my country and attend an SA but I do not know if I should apply to all SA's. (If that would be smart due to need of a nomination)

Many candidates apply to multiple SAs depending on their goals. My oldest started applications at USAFA, USMA, and USNA and, ultimately, finished his USAFA and USMA applications and closed his USNA application. His decision was based on which services he'd rather serve in and medical issues (he is color deficient so Navy is not ideal which is also why he did not apply to USCGA or USMMA). He had a really hard time deciding between USAFA and USMA after receiving appointments to both.

If serving is the goal, don't forget about ROTC scholoarships as well.
