Appointee Kit Q&A

Anyone receive an email from EverFi about the dignity and respect courses? Or have an idea on how to get access them?
DS received his yesterday, DEI, sexual harassment and 1 more. There are links to watch video and probably answer some questions.
It will interesting to see the DEI one since there is a lot of division about this political agenda.

Cheers.

For those who have taken the math diagnostics and took the practice tests, how similar were the two?
The practices test are far more difficult. The small topics that the practice tests cover that you may or may not have learned will likely only have one or two questions on the real test. The real test is multiple choice for all three of them. Focus on the basics of pre-calc (algebra and trig) and for derivatives make sure you know all the basic rules for derivatives when solving and also know graphs of derivatives and their properties and optimization. The integral test was definitely the hardest, for some reason it included geometric and arithmetic series which were easy you could just do by hand, and again it is multiple choice, but this came as a surprise since it wasn't on the practice test. Don't worry about it too much just brush up on them real quick. The hardest for me was integration by parts because I forgot the formula on the test and had to make a guess luckily it was multiple choice. Other than that just know how to solve integrals of all different sorts, I don't think there were any weird trig ones. Again make sure you know the basics for all these and you will be fine. If you need any other help reach out to me I can help you with problems, questions, etc. I am a trained SAT math tutor so if you want pm me and we could set up a zoom.

What is in there? Anything that needed to be done before I-day? Thank you.
More of a ceremonial thing, nothing that needs “doing”. Mine last year (and from social media it appears this year’s too) was a leather folder with a drawing of the chapel on one side and an official certificate of appointment or something along those lines on the other side.
