usmacandidate2020 - there is something you should seriously consider when making your decision whether to accept ROTC at an ivy league school (or any school) vs. USMA.
You want to make sure that the ROTC program at the school you are considering is strongly supported by the school's administration. When researching the schools that my DS received AROTC scholarships to,
it quickly became clear to us that the "best" schools did not necessarily have strongly supported ROTC programs. In fact, for one of the schools, 1/2 of the 9 ROTC cadets dropped out of ROTC their first year, due
to lack of support from the school. Just be sure to research each ROTC school thoroughly to make sure that you
will receive the support and encouragement by the administration and student body that you deserve. Good luck with your decision!
