Does anyone know how appointments are delivered for the class of 2013? I have heard different methods have been used over the years. Specifically, for the class of 2013; is it Fedex or USPS? If it is Fedex, is a signature required? If it is USPS, is it normal mail or priority mail? Is a signature required?

Just wanted to get an idea if it will be undeliverable if no one is home.

For USAFA and USMA, mine came USPS, just left in the mailbox. I'm assuming it's the same for Navy.

The official appointment. living in suburbia we have have the mailboxes where regular letters go in a little slot, and if you have a package, they leave you a key to one of two larger boxes next to the letter boxes. It might depend on your mailbox?

If I got my navy loa dec. 16 when do think I will get the appointment, I already have my nomination and am medically qualified

Navy has been pretty bogged down lately. I got a nom over a month ago, and they still haven't processed it. I'm not sure what's going on over there, but they seem to be super backed up right now.
