Hey, anyone else have a DS or DD coming in from the Fleet? It seems to us that in the past the enlisted folks had to report a few days earlier than everyone else at USCGA prior to the Swearing-In day. Perhaps we saw it on the forum last year. Not sure. Anyone know? Also my DS called the admissions office and asked which forms they needed from him and which they didn't since he was already on Active Duty. The answer was to "eyeball the checklist" and just send what he thought they needed to have. That doesn't sound very helpful to me. He's a grown dude and we are sure he'll figure it all out and get there just fine, but it doesn't hurt to ask the "corporate service academy forum body of knowledge" what ya'll know about coming in from the enlisted ranks. Got info? Do tell! And thanks!

All enlisted members should complete all accession requirements unless specifically told not to and that doesn't sound like the case here. The only requirement (that I can think of) that he may not need to complete is the fingerprinting and eQIP process if he already has a secret clearance.
