What is the number of people who begin the application process, and the number people who complete each step (i.e. People who begin, people who pass CFA, people who obtain a nomination, people found triple Q'd,etc.)?

Hi,

Here are statistics for the Class of 2012 that provides some of the info:

Applicants and Nominees
Applicants (includes nominees)............. 10,960
Number of applicants with an
official nomination............................. 3,838
Nominees qualified scholastically,
medically and in physical aptitude..... 2,196
Offers of admission................................ 1,537
Admitted............................................... 1,261

I haven't seen a similar breakdown/presentation of statistics for the Class of 2013. However, the USNA received 15,342 applications and the I-Day class size was 1,251.

I haven't seen the 2013 stats other than applications (>15,000). If I find them, I'll post them.

Go to USNA.edu; go to the Admissions Link and click on Portrait for the Class of 2013.

That shows various statistics about their h.s. background. It does not show the number 3Q, with noms., etc.....Appears those statistics are not being shown for this year's class.
