Thank you! And thanks everyone for all your help!!! I will still be on the forums helping with whatever I can. All of you older members of the forum have set an excellent example for people who want to help others get into their dream schools and serve our Nation!!!

I am thankful that our DS is not on this forum, it is definitely stressful enough just as a parent!
 
Me too @Texan in MS They have a lot on their plates with sports, school, clubs, and thinking about the rest of their lives and all of their options. Congratulations to your boy. Enjoy these days.
 
Don't fret - DS was just getting DoDMERB resolved this time last year.
Valentines Day notification and he was still fairly early.
LOTS of time to go . . .
 
What is a Direct Appointment versus an Appointment? What does a Direct Appointment mean?
 
For those of you that have heard about your appointments, have you submitted your 7th semester grades? My DS will not get his grades until the beginning of February and wondering if this holds up the process for him.

No. Mine don’t come out till near the end of January. My RC told me to just submit them when they come out!

My understanding of "Direct Appointment" is that it refers to receiving an appointment directly out of High School, as opposed to a re-applicant, college applicant, Enlisted applicant...
