Hello all. I recieved an LOA to the USMA and on Jan 23 i was told that they were submitting a waiver request on my behalf. I have qualified academically and physically so I was wondering if I could only recieve the appointment after the waiver is granted? The waivers are for mild eczema and slight anemia. any help would be greatly appreciated. In addition, does anyone know how long it might take to hear back about these waivers?

Conditional appointments can be given out as well while waiting for waiver requests to be processed.

There is really no such thing as a conditional appointment. There is a Letter of Assurance that holds an opening for a period of time while you complete certain requirements. You already have the LOA so now the waiver needs to go through the process. These reviews are prioritized so I would imagine that you will not have to wait too long to determine if it is approved assuming a remedial is not requested. You cannot be offered an appointment until you are medically qualified.
