Hi! I am currently a candidate for the class of 2023. When I checked my portal today, I found that I had received a nomination from my senator (TN). All other materials have been submitted and processed for over a month now. Does anyone know if I will hear from USAFA about an appointment soon? I understand that most hear back in March, but I am hoping that since my nomination came somewhat early, I will hear back earlier.

Not necessarily any correlation between when you get your nomination and when you hear about offer of appointment. A lot of moving parts here and precious few people hear anything before February or March.

Patience is a virtue when it comes to SA admissions. Go enjoy your senior year and try not to worry about what you can’t control. It’s a great skill for mids/cadets and officers.
