Appointment waves class of 2022

Does anyone know when the next wave of appointments for the class of 2022 will come out? Eager to find out soon!
 
@Parent of 4 It seemed that the AOG kids and the USMAPS kids were waiting well into the Spring. You can look at the appointment thread from last year.
Again, it is a marathon, not a sprint.

What @DrMom said. The prepsters have to successfully complete their academics and all other requirements. The good news is if they do, that appointment is darn near a sure thing. “Darn near” is me not wanting to jinx anything.
 
@Capt MJ Actually, I just double checked my advice to look at the thread from last year--and I was wrong! (GASP!) We did not ask for the type of appointment: Direct/AOG/USMAP ...Then I hunted around to see if I could find where that was--but I know it was like FOREVER--before those young men and women received their appointments. (Of course, no one waited as long as the Baby--Lord Have Mercy, my hair is still gray--it pains me so, Bless His Sweet Heart.) @onepercenter2021 and @mom3boys and @USMA 1994 Do you all remember the relative timeframe last year that the Prepsters and the AOG cadets received their appointments?

According to DD (current AOG) they received them last year before the second wave. Based on info from current classmates at prep school. They were expecting a visit from admissions this Wednesday and hoping that was for appointment delivery but that was delayed due to shutdown :( I just went and took a look at her email from admissions with AOG checklist for this year and it referenced appointments starting in January after 1st semester transcripts were received.

Yes, I was surprised by the January date as well so I went back and checked and the instructions read "- College Transcripts; at the end of the fall semester you must submit your college transcripts to us. This will normally be the last addition to your file and will enable us to start making offers of admission". She is at MMI and doing well but ready to be in New York! How's your boy's first year going so far @DrMom ?

They are still going through LOA/Presidential/Clear Slate winners and they will trickle out the next few weeks,

The next big wave will come when the application window closes and all the MOC slates are resolved.

This is definitely true. My school has 2 recruited athletes who are still waiting on appointments.

My son is an AOG at MMI also. You guys are a wealth of information. All I get from him is "I dunno...". Keeping fingers crossed for everyone!
