If you are the only candidate for an MOC's vacancy(ies) at an academy and are 3q'd, does this give you a better shot at an appointment? If you are just academically DQ'd will that mean at least an acceptance into USAFAPS?

If you are academically dq'd it means that you will not be offered an appointment because you are not qualified. Obviously, if you are the only candidate AND are qualified, you will have a good shot at an appointment. Best wishes.
