everyone who has received an appointment or NAPS already; did they have nominations? I have a nomination, and everything in my file is complete, does that mean they will review my application sooner or is there no difference?
Also is there more than 1 weekend visit to the academy?

You must have a nom to receive an appointment. Most, if not all, folks who've rcvd appointments to date have Pres noms. Whether or not you have a nom doesn't impact when USNA reviews your file -- they are separate processes.

A nom is not required for NAPS.
