April is a great month!

gbo3, I would think that Monday or Tuesday would be about right. The letters carry first class postage but may not have gone out on 4/8 (the postmark date).
 
By the way, to gbo3 and anyone else who gets the letter, you have to respond by email within one week from the postmark of the letter, notifying them of your desire to either remain on the list or to remove your name. Since the letter was dated 4/8 (a Wednesday), we have until Tuesday 4/15 to respond.
 
i'm sure it won't gather any dust, she'll probably get her transcript request filed on monday just in case.
 
Maybe I should just ask my regional director so I could be done with it. But I know I shouldn't... :bang:
I guess I will just have to wait for 2 more days.

everytime i ask my regional director i just receive a generic answer. He wants me to wait for the mail but i dont think i can wait any longer! are any more appts going out or is it basically either rejection or wait list now?

Hello everyone.

My son is in the same boat...Q'd with nom and waiting to hear. Again no mail in WI. I guess that is better than the thin white letter.

I am really confused! Are you saying there are no more appointment packages to find in the mail only no or wait listed left to be received? This waiting is totally crazy! And how do you know who your regional director is? As you can tell I am only the mom!

Calm down, Calm down! I'm only guessing, I am probably incorrect, its only my opinion.

The regional officer, as felixbed says, is on your candidate's applicant page located between "Nominations" and "Medical Status".
 
I still have not received my letter of rejection, (even though I know I've got the "TU" Turned Down).

So in essence, mail is still coming, have the patience!
 
Called Admissons today, found out I had not been accepted.

Looks like I will be doing NROTC at Univ. of Colorado, can't wait.

Double boo-hoo...Eagle and I from Colorado get nothing this time. Hey Eagle, sorry dude...I Got the wait list. :frown: Will look forward to CU Boulder School of Engineering w AROTC full ride, will reapply next year. See you @ CU!
