Are Masks coming back?

You know what's going to happen when they start offering $100 to get vaccinated don't you?
Vaccinated people are going to go back and get vaccinated again.

They're saying I might need a Pfizer booster because I got vaccinated way back in January. If the shots are still free AND they give me one hundred fast-becoming-worthless dollars, I'll do it.
Me too. I want a booster anyway. I'm sure the hundred bucks has other strings besides getting the shot.

Our state had a pretty substantial lottery drawing type incentive, as well as weekly winnings, and a scholarship for those under age. People who were already VAX could also enter.

Out family that was VAX entered. My one that isn’t? Had no effect on their decision.

None of us won anything.

DH was a Gulden’s brown on hot dogs for years - until I gave him a test run of Grey Poupon Deli Mustard with Horseradish. It’s his new fave for hot dogs, sausages, roast beef or ham sandwiches, etc. Still wants his oil and vinegar seasoned dressing on hoagies.
I am officially disappointed in you here. Grey Poupon with or without Horseradish is an acceptable Mustard but it does not hold a candle to
Alstertor Mustard. Discerning people have sets of the mugs as a bonus.

The condiment and sauce stock shelf in the pantry at the moment.

@brewmeist any points from you? I have stockpiled the K mustard, because it was on a special display stand in the Ft. Meade Commussary, and I scooped up a few. Army and AF commissaries always have a good European goodie aisle. Navy always has good Asian stuff like frozen lumpia wrappers and all kinds of rice vinegars.

Noted. I see those in the Commissary and will work them into the rotation. Perhaps they will complement my Bonne Maman jam jar glasses…my absolute favorite preserves. First ingredient is always fruit.54F550D1-7735-459D-9CD6-64455775D8D6.jpeg

To me, Grey Poupon Deli Mustard with Horseradish is great but geared for sandwiches and sausages. Gulden's still the one for the hot dog entree. :)

Full confession, please do not consign me to the stake to be burned as a heretic: I like ketchup on my dog with Vidalia onions, toasted or grilled Schmidt’s potato bun. 🙊

This is truly a split-personality thread. If you can’t face the COVID strain, decamp to the parallel food world strain. Mental health option.

I too am a Bonne Maman jar cum glass collector. They’re wonderful for serving Manhattans, Old Fashioneds, Gin & Tonics. The jam ain’t bad either.

I like Gulden's, but Kosciusko will always be the best brown mustard in the world. Period. Not an opinion. It is fact. And, being 100% Polish, let me tell you all right now that it is pronounced "Ko SHUSH ko." Its is NOT "Ka skee OOS ko." Same rule goes for the bridge!

And the General!
I‘ve tried my best to limit my involvement with this thread to issues of masking and vaxxing. However, I’ll go off into the comfort zone since I can’t resist the opportunity to correct yet one more piece of misinformation.

Kościuszko is pronounced kosh choosh ko.

If you are applying to USMA, it is a name you will come to know. But, it is a name every American should know.

Regardless of whether you like mustard or ketchup or mayo or Miracle Whip on your hot dog, can we all agree that the very best over-the-counter, mass-produced hot dogs are Kirkland Signature brand from Costco? Not only do they taste like beef and have a firm texture, they also are the right length. All else pale in comparison.

I had to wear this thing or something similar as the lowest ranking airman during drills and count the Atropine injections in the collar. I won't do it again.

Umm….Amish Market beef dogs. Old school. Come in a string. But - definitely not mass-produced.

I typically go with Ball Park all-beef. I don’t have Costco but Sam’s, which is closest to me.
