Hi I am a candidate for West Point, can someone tell me if my scores would be acceptable

Shuttle Run - 10.2
Push Ups - 30
Flexed Arm Hang - 10 seconds
Basketball throw - 50 feet
Situps - 50
Mile time - 9:45

@daniellerheana1 if you are applying to the USMMA, consider that the CFA is a pass/fail requirement at Kings Point. So, I would turn those scores in! You're good to go if you pass, but if you fail, you can always train more and try again. Also, as you've stated you are a West Point Candidate, you can ask West Point Admissions to forward your scores to the USMMA, as opposed to sending your scores twice.

I passed my first CFA for the USMMA. When I took the CFA again at the USNA, my USMMA Admissions Officer let me know that there is no need to forward my second CFA, as all they care about is if I pass or fail.

However, if you just barely pass with scores you are unsatisfied with, keep training. Every pushup will make you that much more prepared for IDOC!

Not hundred percent sure, but I think this would fail. My advice would be to improve on pushups, situps, and mile, and FAH. Again, I am just a person on a forum, only way to know would be to submit.

Okay, I retook and increased a lot - my mile time is 8:57, my pushups are 32, my situps are around 61. I just cannot get a flexed arm hang but I'm gonna keep trying.

I am guessing you mistyped and were looking for the USMA threads and not USMMA.

I am also guessing you mistyped when you wrote exceptable instead of Acceptable.

Good luck in the Army

Can you do any pull-ups? For women, 1 single pull up is worth more points than the maximum flexed arm hang.

For all your activities try to do it in sets, that helped my DD a lot. Keep trying consistently for pull-ups and you will definitely get it.
