Are USN/MC Pilots Really More Skilled Than USAF Pilots

I’m going to also give some love to the Coasties! They’re usually flying when their sister services are weather canceling.
I'll echo that!

I've seen them launch when the seagulls stayed down. But then as many a "Puddle Pirate" (said with affection) has told me:

"The rules say we HAVE to go out...we DON'T have to come back."

Guy named Harrison Ford or something.
He's been in a lot of movies about flying but his actual pilot record is, um, mixed.

EDIT: Oh, forgot the original topic: if you want to talk about the services as a whole then bringing up the tiny percentage of daredevils on the fringe seems a bit unfair. How many dozen navy rescue helo pilots are there vs the much higher percentage of tree-top hugging helo WOs in the Army, for example? But there is lots of alarming Navy carrier work as well as some seriously unhealthy AF cargo work in uncomfortable areas (Bosnia, Afghanistan, etc). So mostly a dumb bar conversation. (But most CG pilots are flying rescue daily, sometimes in some hairy situations. 😜 )
