Armed Forces Bank

I have tried to create an account with the Armed Forces Bank and both times I received an email saying that my identity is unable to be confirmed and that I need to visit a local branch. The closest branch is 4 hours away from me... I tried calling the number on the portal but no one answered. Can anyone help me with this? Are we supposed to put our home address or the Academy's address or our address that was just issued? Thanks!
I had the same exact problem. I tried over 5 different times to open an account, both with my passport and my drivers license. (the address I put in was the Academy one) Each times I got the "unable to verify identity; please visit local branch" which for me is like a good 7 hour drive away. I even called their customer service number to try and figure out what may be going on. I was unable to get some straight answers so I decided that for the time being I am going to just use my current bank.
