Army-Navy Time!

What is the point? Looks like the cherry picked picture of Navy has about 10 sleeping midns and the couple of weeks old picture of cadets shows them mostly awake?

I know for fact that the cadets were for the most part, sitting in their chairs for 4 hours before Barry read off the TelePrompter's, how long did Navy wait for Bush in that speech?

I'm not seeing a million words there, I do remember CBS stating that the cadets were sleeping during Barry's reading. :shake:

Hey, Maximus, did you read the name of this thread?

Is Navy's sense of humor as rusty as its ships?

Sure is looking like Army is way ahead on this thread. :yllol:

GO Army! Sink Navy!

I'm all about having fun and being jovial :thumb:

Go Army beat Navy

What does Barry have to do with the Army Navy game?

Since you do jovial but not funny , Max, maybe you and our other sea soaked friends will enjoy seeing a news clip about the Game:

Thanks for the clip Ant and I guess you missed this post (below by Trixie), it's why a couple of people were discussing Barry.

To watch the game and root for army you'd have to have a sense of humor and no sense of reality, but it's good to have an active imagination.:yllol:

Well, well, well...it's halftime and Army is holding their own. :thumb:

I will say this, after seeing the Navy Coach talk to the reporters after the win, in my book, he's a class act.

He is a class act...the only issue I had with him was he only mentioned the "men" serving, he forgot about the women. Then again, he could have only been referring to the two teams and not the Corps and Brigade. Great game to both teams!!

Another great game. No wonder the entire nation is willing to watch. And while the Navy coach did everyone proud with his parting words, the Army team and coach have consistantly shown the same grace and respect so the words may not have been much different had the final score been reversed. A short window to peek into another world for our nation. A nice snapshot for us to show the rest of our country what it is all about.
Go Service Academies!

PS I thought the 'staring at goats' commercial was hilarious, but I thought it was a NAVY commercial! You Army folks are really different...

I liked the car commercial (and yes, it was a Navy commercial) - the one with something like "yes, the game's going to feel the same way". Unfortunately - it did! Glad I left for church while it was still close (Navy had just scored their first touchdown).
