Hello everyone,

The Army ROTC 2nd Board starts on Monday 1/23/23. My DS is from CT and has applied to mostly SMC's. He's been accepted to The Citadel, VMI, Norwich, UNG and we are waiting on TAMU.

Good luck!

My DD is also from CT and her AROTC will be reviewed this coming board. Fingers crossed. She also was only applying to SMCs. She was accepted to VTCC, VMI, & Norwich. She loved all 3 schools but committed to VT. Feel free to DM me.

Board starts meeting tomorrow, but my DD's application status is still only "Board Ready". Has anyone else's app status changed to "Boarded" lately?

My DS has been boarded and under consideration since the October board. He was Board Ready prior to the October board.

Thanks for getting the 2nd board started. My DS was not selected on the 1st board and rolled over to the 2nd. DS is accepted to 20 colleges and pending his dream school. The waiting game continues :jump1:.

Wow... 20 schools. Did you happen to somehow qualify for the application fee waiver? lol. Whats his 1st choice?

My DS has driven his entire application process and I know nothing. To my understanding the only ROTC communication received to date has been, "submit 7th semester transcript." He has the standard, good grades, good scores, Eagle Scout, varsity athlete, leadership. Can members of this board offer me questions I can pose to DS to better understand where he is in the process?

My DS was on the October Board and was not selected. He was not asked for his 7th semester transcript but he did submit his 7th semester report card through the miscellaneous upload tab a couple weeks ago. Has anyone else been asked for a 7th semester transcript?

Good luck everyone! Does anyone know when we will get our board results posted?
No. I'd say the earliest would be Friday (but unlikely), but more likely closer to next Friday. After the list is made, it is circulated to the ROTC programs before the results are posted. Sometimes, there are technical issues that cause further delay. Sometimes, PMSs reach out to individuals on the list before results are posted, even though they are not supposed to. You will wear out your refresh button.

Still just "Board Ready" for us. What is the difference? Does Boarded mean they are looking at it?

My DS portal status has just changed to Boarded. It was Boarded/Under Consideration this morning and had been that way since October. Has anyone else from the October board gone back to boarded status?

just remember its the 2nd board and the next two weeks will be long. Don't refresh the screen every 5 seconds or check the email constantly. Even if you dont get it there is always the 3rd board. Trust me (son is 3rd board) it can be a long wait.
