As has been stated every year. Be careful in comparing stats. The AROTC selection process has many factors that don't fit into the SAT/ACT, grades.... categories. The CBEF and interview are extremely important and often overlooked. The essays are also important. It happens every year, but understand that no one on this board (other than a handful;) )has the formula for why one candidate was selected over another.

Yes, I’m aware. Still helpful to have a baseline on SAT/ACT and other scores that we do know

3.69 unweighted
Her Act was 19 so not great but only took it once her Pft was high.
3 year varsity Wrestling capt.
4 year varsity Softball capt
Soccer jv & varsity
Girl Scout bronze, silver gold award, academic all state, ALA Girls State, JROTC color detail for honor flight.
4yrs Lt Colonel JROTC, Drill commander and special teams commander. Honor society, student council. & she has 3 national awards from AFJROTC
4 year camp fury. And a ton of community service she is a busy kid.

We were worried about the lower ACT score. She was prepared to bust her butt for a on campus scholarship after her first year in ROTC if she didn’t get a offer.
 
We’re a little worried about lack of varsity letters. My DS has some sports activities and church as well as volunteer time but no Varsity letters. He had a good SAT score though with a 1320 and and scored a 140 out of 150 possible on the pft. Fingers crossed!

Congratulations! We have a full cell phone ban at our school but, my daughter’s College Algebra teacher is my bestie so I texted Her and she told my DD. Waiting for 4th hour was rough.
