Army ROTC 2nd Board Results

Hi, is anyone else still board ready? Before the board deadline I had emailed two different ROO’s and cadet command to confirm I was all set for this board. I was assured my application was ok and “interview pending” was a glitch, but now I’m worried again.
 
DS has/had same issue and still says Board Ready. Hopefully all is well and will show that people get boarded later this week...

Yeah, I’m thinking updates are still yet to come if other people have this problem. Possibly similar to the college application process where some decision release dates were vague or came out in waves.

Everyone who is still board ready should email support, maybe cadet command doesn't know the statuses are messed up! Good luck to everyone either way!

Did you reload the screen to double check? Mine was locked a couple days ago but I went out of the page and reopened it and I could edit it again.

Usually when it is locked you just can't move your list of schools around and the update list button won't work. I haven't ever seen the entire tab locked or anything like that.

you are right. can move things around and edit today.. so "Board Ready" and can edit/move schools. Either they didn't update yet or that's not a good sign. They should have reviewed everyone who has a completed file though, right? so there should be a decision posted up there in a week or so in any case..

I don't think anyone has a legitimate locked school of intent screen yet so no need to worry about that, if your file was "board ready" before the turn-in date it was reviewed. I think they are having issues with the system again. (That would explain all of the issues at least)
 
New message in the portal: "For those applicants who were board ready prior to the start of the January Board (24 January), please be patient the system is still displaying board ready for applicants who were in fact viewed by the board. We hope to have this fixed soon."

Saw this too. Glad the good people in Ft. Knox were able to clarify everything.

By chance, does anyone know what the benchmark SAT/GPA scores were for October selections? I have read that the overall average is 1250 SAT and 3.6 GPA. Interested to know if DS is in the ballpark for this round with a 1370/27 SAT/ACT and 3.6/3.75 UW/W GPA? Thanks and good luck!

I would say definitely in the ballpark. Very close to my DS's stats, and he got a 4-year on the 2nd board last year. Of course, the wildcards are the scores we will never know - the PMS interview and the survey score. Don't know about 1st board stats, but I always heard it was "cream of the crop" so I have assumed 1450+ and 3.9+.

We hope to have this fixed soon." If you are worried about your status display showing board ready, it may simply be an error. This was displayed on my application.

To echo KingZunzie, I think DS is definitely in the ballpark. My DS had 1300 SAT and a 3.9/4.25 UW/W Gpa. He recieved a 3 year scholarship on 2nd Board, and was upgraded to a 4 year on the last board. As stated, other aspects of the application do come into play.

I remember the anxiety awaiting the results at this time last year. Good luck to you and your son!

DD is now in "Boarded/Under Consideration," does that mean her application is under review or that she's skipped over until the next round?

Or are we not paying any attention to statuses now that we know there are errors?
