Army ROTC 3rd Board Results...

Fellow Parents and DS/DD...
I thought I would start this thread as the "roller derby" begins for round 3. Unless I missed something and 3rd Board not happening similar to Air Force?
 
What I'm curious about is this:

One part of the portal says the 3rd board starts today....while another says "the 21 March" board.

Is the 3rd and final board happening this week, or next week?

Based on the previous boards, it’s likely results won’t be available until the week of March 29. However, it can take up to 30 days for the results of the board to be released.
 
Preface this by saying I know we are not supposed to read much into portal changes...
My daughter was boarded this week, and her portal changed directly to Boarded/Under Consideration. Is this typical? The wording applies to applicants who were boarded on the first or second round and she was not as her application was not complete until february. Nothing else has changed at this point. Just wondering what others had seen happen before for a third board only applicant. Thank you!

I have the same status. I believe it is normal.
 
Yes it is normal to have them move to boarded/underconsideration I believe from previous boards. My sons is in the same status as well.

Yes, that is normal. Sounds like they just haven't updated the description under "Boarded/Under Consideration" to reflect the 3rd Board yet. Good luck to your daughter!
 
Currently, my daughter's account is unavailable. Is the portal under maintenance or down for anyone else, or does this mean something?

I would guess it's was under maintenance....but that's a guess. I'm sure it will update and go back to normal
 
The portal is working normally for me now. It was likely a system issue or under maintenance.

Don’t play into the “my status was changed” or ”the portal was down,” as they likely mean nothing. We’ll all find out at the end of the month, hopefully on the 26th as mentioned above!
 
I just found out that I had been selected for a 3YR AD scholarship! I want to thank everyone who has answered my questions, offered suggestions, and gave information, especially @EEBTTF who has replied to every single one of my posts. I received a call from my #2 school and they said I had won and they wanted to congratulate me. It is still unofficial but I am shaking with excitement and gratitude. So thank you all, and good luck to other candidates for this last board! 😆

Fantastic news, and a very well deserved "Congratulations" to you!

Now.....give it up, hand it over to my son, and you can then begin a fresh career cleaning cages at the local Humane Society. So rewarding, and you get the latex gloves for free!!!!
