Hello, I recently did all of the requested steps for my waiver to be submitted. I just want to know my chances of actually receiving it; my records show my left and right cylindrical parts of my eye have a 3.25 and 3.50 astigmatism. This is over the requirements which is a 3.0 for Army ROTC. If anyone could provide any info to ease my mind, or give me educated insight of my chances of getting a dq, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Provided the rest of your exam is normal to include being correctable to the visual acuity standards, you've got a good chance of getting a waiver.

So you've mentioned the cylinders. What are your spheres? Your eye doctor says you don't have keratoconus, correct?
