Army ROTC Scholarship is out!

DS is a four year winner to schools 1,2, and 5. Oddly, he has only been accepted to choice 3 so far and 4 was a huge reach.

There is still another round. Don't lose hope yet. You have come this far, and many on this board have stated that they didn't get the good news until April or even later. Good luck to you!!!

Hey there are a couple posters here who didn't get one in Oct but did get one in Jan. Keep your chin up and don't let off the gas as you finish out your senior year. Good luck to you with the next board.

Thanks I won’t let this get me down there’s one more board In only a few months so I’ll try again then
 
I didn’t win, and I literally had to throw up in class after I saw with all my nervousness crashing down. This is extremely frustrating, I will persist. It’s doesn’t look good, as I don’t consider myself very competitive. Theyll be a bunch of last minute applicants with better scores who will jump me in the OML on the next board, so I’ll have to be looking more towards plan B

There is still one more board I wouldn’t jump to enlisting rn at least wait until the next board comes out. By that time It would be late March and you would still have 2 months to enlist before the summer
 
Congrats to our daughter who was awarded a 4yr to her top school and two others on her list. Along with a Navy 4 year, she’s got a few options open to her. Very proud of her hard work and dedication!
 
Weird question, but my DS got a 4 year scholarship to his first choice school (he won't know if he got in until 3/22), his second school is not one that he applied to (not sure if this was his mistake - wrong numbers or something? or a board selection for him?) and his 3rd school is just about his last choice. The school he selected as his 3rd choice, to which he has already been accepted, isn't listed at all! I assume we should wait to see what happens with school #1 before changing the others? Or should he start on that asap?

Congratulations! Our DS just got a 4 yr. army, and is still waiting for Navy. These kids are quite impressive!!!
