Army ROTC Scholarship Notification

It's not uncommon for it to go down every couple of weeks for maintenance, and upkeep. Don't read more into it than that.
 
My Bet

My Bet is they have so many updates they had to take the system down to get them in the system. The timing is consistent with all the communications from various sources reporting feedback on estimated reporting.

But only my gut check......
 
Wow, their server is still down. Whatever they are doing, it's taking a long time!!

My son had his file complete for the first board that met 10/5 - 10/9.
He (we!) are anxiously awaiting the decision and the goarmy.com site is sill not letting us view his application status!

Updated Info

According to my admissions contact at Cadet Command, they have yet to recieve results from the first board.

So the outage was wishful thinking on my part.
 
The site is up. Whether there are any "updates"..... not from our perspective.

Update to the board

My status changed to schedule an interview to
"You may check your medical qualification status by visiting the Department of Defense Medical Examination Review Board DoDMERB WebSite"

Any thoughts? I had already been told by two separate contacts at one of my schools and at Cadet Command that my application was complete?

I think congratulations are in order. :thumb:

My correspondence with Cadet Command this year told me that only applicants awarded scholarships would be given DoDMERB physicals.

Check with your top choice school. They should be able to confirm.

Please don't hold me to this but...when this happened on my DS portal (and a few others here last year) he/they had won the scholarship and it was only pending DoDMERB.

So, partial congratulations are in order! :thumb:

Got the same... I was told they are still in the process of updating, but I am also taking this as a good sign !!!
 
Does anyone know if they are they still updating or is that it?

I still have the interview message :frown:

Keep your head up. They are just starting and they told me it could take another couple of days to input all the results from the first board.
 
Congrats to all that received the dodmerb message!
Hopefully you will get the official response soon and find out which schools you received the scholarships at.

My son already qualified with Dodmerb due to his West Point application so we do know that he has at least passed that hurdle. Now we just sit tight and wait for the next board as I don't think his application package was complete for the first board since someone stated it had to be done 2 weeks prior.

CJs, just to let you know, my daughter didn't get her application in until 1 OCT and was told by her PMS that her packet did in fact make it to the 6 OCT board, so I think there's still hope for both of us! Good luck to all of you!

It's a big week for my son as he has two meetings with our Senators for the nominations to West Point so I'm hoping he doesn't check the status and find out his didn't change.

Hello!
I don't post much but I have benefitted so much from reading posts from so many of you! Thank you so much! My son is an AROTC scholarship applicant and had his file complete for the board that met the first week of Oct. His status has not changed - We check the goarmy.com site - is that the only place to check?
Also - has anyone gotten a phone call from a PMS to congratulate them on being awarded a scholarship?
This waiting is so hard!
