Greetings all -

I would like to transfer my scholarship to my #4 school. I've always wanted to go my #4 school, but unfortunately it has always been a reach school for me. This is why I listed it so low. Last Friday I found out that I was accepted!

So on the winner letter it only gives me 4 options -

Check one of the 3 listed schools
OR
Decline Scholarship

So whats the procedure I should do? Should I select the school I most want to go to 2nd? Ive already written my reason for transfer and submitted it, and I also uploaded my acceptance to my #4 school.

Prepare your questions and call the ROO at your #4 school for guidance. Maybe your #4 school does not have any slots/'allocations'/Mission set for your class left.

from the the letter from MG Combs;
If at any time you need to change the school
you choose to attend, please reference the enclosed instructions. Read the enclosed instructions carefully and retain them
for reference.

Perhaps this refers to change to a different awarded school.
Lot's of previous threads on here addressing this very topic.

I'm wondering if anyone here knows about the likeliness of transfer to a more expensive school.
- I am a CDT with a 3yr AD scholarship and an MS2 going into my MS3 year. Therefore I've already used 1 year of my scholarship funds here. I have a 3.98 GPA.

-The army is currently paying $33,000 a year to attend this school. The school I am looking to transfer to is $43,000 a year.

- The school I am looking to transfer to has not yet filled their Mission Set 19

What would be the likeliness of this transfer being approved?

What did your cadre tell you? What did the Battalion you want to transfer tell you? Do you have a good 104r for your new school that show you will still graduate on time? Are you a good Cadet? Good GPA? Good PT score? Have a good reason for wanting to transfer after two years? If we tell you it's not likely will you still request the transfer, or will you let a bunch of strangers convince you it's not worth it.

No need to answer all those questions...just understand that the only people that are going to know the likelihood are the folks at your Battalion, Brigade, and Cadet Command.
