Army ROTC Scholarship

Are all scholarship winners notified that they won at the same time? Or could a few get their notifications and others get them later in the week?

The notification letters and portal updates general occur at the same time.

On the other thread there was a lot of talk about a red box around the winner paragraph and I don't have that, is that a bad sign?

It’s only the first board...the only bad sign would be if your status changes from boarded to ineligible.

My daughter's is still boarded also with no red boarder. It's really going to be a long couple of months. anybody know how much your chances go down with the second round?

I heard that your chances can go up. Don't give up hope.

Looks like I didn't make this first board either however I wouldn't be discouraged. The ROO at one of my schools said I was very competitive but don't get down if I don't make 1st board. He said the majority of scholarships go in the 2nd and 3rd board and the first board is a very low selection rate

In the past only about 300 of the 2000 plus scholarships given out were on the first board. Yes there will be more applicants but they will give out more scholarships in the second and third board.
