Hello I joined as a junior for army ROTC and I am planning to do SMP without military experience. I was told I just do bct and I skip AIT. would I get drill pay plus monthly stipend plus $300 a month for doing smp?

You’ll need Basic to be eligible to be in what ROTC calls the advanced course (junior and senior year of ROTC class). You will not need to go to AIT, from an ROTC standpoint. Depending in your component (Guard or Reserves) you should be eligible for drill pay and possibly tuition assistance. Without AIT you won’t be eligible for GI Bill benefits. Once you contract with ROTC you will receive your monthly stipend ($420). Make sure you are talking to your recruiter and the ROO at the ROTC program you plan to join to fully understand your benefits. I would also suggest steering clear of GRFD if you are non scholarship.
