Army vs Air Force

Hi,
I am in a bit of a pickle with my scholarships. As for the Air Force, I have received a type 7 and I live in Washington so I would use it at UW. However, I received a full 4 year scholarship from the Army to my top three schools. If I were to go Army then I would go to University of San Diego. I am leaning towards Air Force but I really want to go to University of San Diego. Also, still waiting to hear back from USAFA... Does anyone have any advice on how to choose? Or to just wait and see how the cost all works out if I were to factor in other scholarships and convert it to a type 2 for three years?
Thanks!
Quinlan

Which service provides the career path that aligns better to your goals? Yes, location of college is important, but don't overlook the 5-10-20 years that follow graduation. Also, don't forget to listen to what your heart tells you.

You have a couple of nice options. Congratulations.

Thank you. I would say the Air Force. I have always been interested in flying and want to major in some type of engineering but not sure exactly what yet. I think I am just going to wait until I have all of my options right in front of me and make a decision from there. The hardest part is it feels like this one decision could change my whole career path/life path. The grass is always greener on the other side but I’m very blessed to even have the options.

The question is what do you want to do in the military. So you say being pilot. Great now what happens if you dont get to be a pilot. Is there another position you would like, Does that job exist in the Air Force. Do the same with the Army. You can be a helicopter pilot in the army. What happens if you dont get to be a pilot. What would you do next.
