AROTC 2nd Board Waiters 2015

Just so want to know one way or the other so we can send deposits in and visit different schools if needed. Good luck to everyone!
 
I may just wait for the official winner thread to start blowing up before I check mine...probably easier said than done
 
Well, the thought that keeps getting to me, is tgat the scholarships can go out and you'll never know if you were passed over.
 
If you aren't subscribed to the Official Winners thread Id subscribe to it, that way you'll know if you get passed over, because the winners will post in there for the 2nd board, and if your status didnt change at all in that day that they were chosen, you likely are passed over
 
I know that. I'm subscribed to it. What I mean is that by checking your portal every hour, you'll likely not realize that their is no need. So rather just keep up with the forum.
 
I have gotten text alerts from CC in the past, does anyone think I'd get one if they moved my status?
 
I've heard that you get a notification on the dashboard, and an email that there is a notification.
 
For what its worth, last year my son and I received an automated email about his scholarship at 4:07pm. It was on a Wednesday.
 
Also, Many of the emails last year went into Spam or Junk so make sure you check those boxes.
 
Just wanted to put in a quick shout out to all of the hopefuls and their familes....the waiting is horrible and I remember it well. Stay busy - my house was never cleaner - and time will pass however slowly.

The AROTC Officer at University of Idaho told me that they release the news to the applicants before releasing it to the schools.
