Have you decided on Daytona or Prescott? I visited the Daytona campus last week and I was sold so I am definitely going to Daytona.

Like many people on this thread have said, it all rests in the hands of the board and it really depends on how they look at your packet. A friend of mine who was awarded one last year did not get one til the 3rd board and I believed that they had much better stats than I did personally. The waiting is the worst part but time will tell and there's not much time until the 3rd board even though it may feel like an eternity. I haven't made the decision yet, but I live a lot closer to Prescott and have visited the campus.

Powerlifting Captain
Football Captain
3 Year Letter in Football and Powerlifting
Boys State attendee
Ive started three of my own businesses and ran two charity events.
etc...

One thing I have found, was even if you have low scores on your SAT or ACT that doesn't mean you're out of the running. I was very lazy with my application for the scholarship and turned it in a few days before the second deadline. I was positive due to my ACT score I wouldn't get it, however if you can train hard for your physical, show the Army you have a major interest in service and prove you have leadership potential I feel you will distinguish yourself as a worthy candidate.
