I thought we would here a lot more about accessions this year and what the numbers were. It's been kind of quiet.

I believe DS ,MSIII said everybody in his unit who wanted AD got AD

DS's cadre just called them in this morning to pass the news. DS (December grad) got Army Reserve, which was his first choice. He said everyone he spoke to got what they wanted. They received no info on when they will learn about branching.

40 MSIVs about 10 requested reserves

Apparently, DS said that ED delay had not been determined yet and that would be about 80 or so cadets, so that particular MS4 had a pretty good chance.

Yes they do.

Last year a cadet from this board had originally received Reserve but then later was given AD from the list.

Some cadets even decide after receiving AD to switch to Reserve which may open some slots as well.

Not a huge number get that second chance but it does happen.
