AROTC Application Portal/Scheduling Interview

I looked a few pages back to see if this question has been brought up but did not see it. For several weeks now, son's dashboard has a red note at the top that says:

Concerned that your ACT/SAT Scores and/or High School Transcript have not been approved? Don't be; it's an automation issue we are working. Know that we have recorded your scores and will approve as soon as the system allows. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Son wants to set up his interview with PMS, but I was thinking this had to be approved. On his dashboard, "Academic Information" says pending approval. He completed this section some time ago.

Anyone else have this issue? Can you/Did you schedule the PMS interview if it still says pending approval? It is also not allowing the Physical Test to be performed as it can be done until the scores and transcript are approved.
 
When I filled out my application last year, it said pending on academic information until my high school counselor wrote a letter of recommendation for me and submitted it to cadet command. That was actually the last thing that was pending on my application, so I was able to do everything beforehand including the PMS interview. Check the part of the application that says "status" to see whether your son is ready for a PMS interview or not. If nothing indicates that he is ready for his interview, there is probably something that must be done before scheduling it.

My DD is having the same dilemma. Her materials were all submitted 3-4 weeks ago but the transcript and ACT scores have still not been processed. I understand that there are automation issues, but it looks like those automation issues are also causing downstream problems by not enabling applicants to complete the next steps of the application process (e.g. PMS interview, schedule fitness test).

Thanks for the reply! At the least it is reassuring knowing it is a wider problem that they are working on. I just wanted to make sure it wasn't because of something he hadn't done. The two of us have looked at that "academic information" tab so many times to see if he missed anything, but it's definitely complete on his end.

DS's goal was to get a lot of this done prior to school starting but this is throwing a wrench in that.

FWIW, you could probably go ahead and arrange the fitness test on your own if you download the proper form and instructions. Applicants are able to upload the PFA Scorecard directly in the File Upload section of the website. The PMS interview may need to wait until your DS progresses from "eligible" to "interviewee" on the Status page.
 
DS is having similar issues, 2 actually:

Academic information is still yellow but everything is attached and there is no message as to what is missing - perhaps it is related to the SAT section which asks for Reading, Math and Writing scores but since Essay is no longer an option, he is leaving writing blank - he actually even tried to put a 0 in the box but the yellow indicator is still there.

2nd "yellow" issue is on the page asking for his list of 7 schools. He has 7 schools listed but the same yellow message is coming up stating he needs to list 7 schools - all his 7 schools do offer Army ROTC too.
Any suggestions? TIA
 
My DS had that issue but per Army Webguys it appears to have been resolved. But we do note that some areas are still yellow. He had completed his PT test and my DS did his PMS last week at his top school and so we'll see how it all goes from here. First Board in October.. Hard to believe only a couple of months away!

"Army Webguys"? Can you please share a contact number? DS is waiting on his Athletic Director to schedule PT - should be soon - then hopefully Interview in time for 1st board. Good Luck!
 
We have been using the "contact us" tab on the application website and it gives you box to post a comment/question. They have been pretty responsive in getting back in a day or so.
