AROTC Contract: 1 Year Opt-Out

Our daughter's ROTC office sent us a copy of the ROTC contract she will sign when she arrives in September. I understand an element of the 4-year scholarship is that a student can opt-out without obligation prior to the start of their sophmore year. However, I can't find this term in the contract they sent me.

I know others have received and reviewed the contracts already. Am I just missing this or is this aspect of a 4-year scholarship covered somewhere else.
