1. When and how do the DODMRB notifications go out? Do they come in the mail or are they posted on the ROTC portal?

2. When are financial packages sent to the schools?

You get a DODMERB packet in the mail. My DD got hers before the actual notification came.

Financial packages are not sent to the school, it is handled through ROTC at your school to the financial aid office, and typically not until this summer, and not activated until you pass your DODMERB and PFT. Once you have your scholarship in hand, I would talk to the ROO and find out who in the financial aid office handles the ROTC cadets. We were nervous last year because the financial aid portal kept saying we were 100% responsible, but everything went through as promised and there were notes in her file so no late payments. Your school has dealt with this before, so it is not their first rodeo, just find out who actually keeps track and they can tell you what to expect.
