AROTC Essay Question

This might be a really dumb question, but I want to make sure I do this correctly. The instructions for the essays on the Army ROTC page say "please limit your responses to 2000 characters max." Is this 2000 characters for each response, or 2000 characters total across all three responses? My gut says that surely it must be 2000 characters for each response because otherwise there's barely any space to work with. But since many other parts of this process have been problematic, it seems pertinent to clarify.

It is 2000 characters per response. That is one 'correct' portion -- LOL. I know my students are experiencing lots of issues with the application, too. Good luck!

Keep in mind that limit on characters includes blanks.
