I have been speaking with my Cadre and getting conflicting information from them, as well as the Cadet Command Regulations regarding possible dropping of my ROTC scholarship. Here is what is going on, I received a 4 yr Nursing Scholarship, I completed my freshman year with a nursing major and realized that I wanted to change my major, went through the proper channels to change my major and switched my scholarship to a line scholarship but was told that I would incur a one semester academic suspension for the Fall semester, (so I paid for the semester). Now that I have completed my fall semester I think I would like to dis-enroll from ROTC and I wonder if I am obligated to pay back my freshman year as well since I wasn't fully in the scholarship program at the beginning of my MSII year? I can find nothing that is clear on this matter., any assistance would be appreciated.

You will pay back or serve. It’s in the contract. As soon as you start your sophomore year you incur an obligation.
