I just had a Lt. call from my #1 choice AROTC school and ask if I had followed through with applying ED to the school (had talked with PMS earlier about it). I told him yes, I did. He said that that was all he needed to know and then asked if I had any questions. I basically just asked him if he knew anything about the board that was meeting this week and he said that he didn't. End of conversation, I told him to have a great day and he hung up. Conversation lasted about 1 minute.

Any idea if this is a hint at a scholarship???? Any one else with this kind of call? :biggrin:

Daughter had the same type call from 3 of the schools on her list. All said they were recommending her for the scholarship. Short calls--followed up with emails too. Good luck.

the school was checking to see if they should make you eligible for a 4 year, or a three year. The board is meeting now, and the results haven't been released. PMS's can designate whether an applicant should get an offer or not. You'll be getting a slightly different call if you actually get offers. If you applied ED to the school chances are they said that you should get an offer to their school if you are selected for a scholarship.

Gotta love the guys in the loop:thumb: Thanks!

Will the PMS know about the board decision in the next week? Could I call him about it soon?

Thanks so much:thumb::thumb::thumb::thumb::thumb::thumb:

Took exactly 20 days for my daughters status to change last year. If the PMS' knew of her scholarship status, they never called us to tell us. They found out the day after her status changed.

Good luck!!
