AROTC Physical Fitness Assessment Question

I know PE teacher, NCO, Commissioned Officer, and Coach can administer the APFT.

But in terms of coach, does it strictly have to be a high school coach? Or can it be some sort of athletic coach? I do TaeKwonDo (not school coach) and my master is a 6th degree black belt who would like to administer my APFT test

Also, I know NCOs or Commissioned officers can do it to but what branch can they be? Only Army? or any NCO or Officer? (Like a Marine NCO)

Thanks!

I believe they prefer someone working at the school, e.g., athletic coach, PE teacher, Vice Principal. My son is a 4th degree black belt in taekwondo and he'll be having his cross country coach administer the assessment at the school, at the track.

Thank you! And do you think a Marine NCO can administer my test?

TKD instructor should be OK, Marine should be OK. AROTC is not that particular. And remember you are taking a PFT, not an APFT.

For future reference, it says on the 2018/2019 on the PFA form, "Test Administrator Info (ONLY high school officials/teachers may administer the Physical Fitness Assessment (PFA) and certify results. If you are Home Schooled, your parent(s) may administer the test."
