The Army doesn't distinguish between majors within an Academic Discipline Mix.
ADM1 = Arts and Humanities
ADM2 = most social sciences, business
ADM3 = Math and Sciences
ADM4 = Engineering
ADM5 = Nursing
Scholarships this year, from what I've read here on this Board, are offered specifying ADM. One can easily move from a lower ADM# to a higher one. Going down in number requires approvals.
