AROTC Scholarship January Boards - Post if your status has changed

DS's portal said Rutgers. He was awarded Rutgers, Penn State, and The Citadel. So, not sure as to the alphabetical theory. However, they were 3 year. NROTC gacve hima 4 yr to Rutgers. Decisions......
 
It might be the portal showed the 4 yr in alphabetical order, after that it goes to 3 yr.
 
Son's portal showed only the 3 yr (not the other three 4 yr offers) and not the one that came first alphabetically.
 
Received a letter from CC today.

Enclosed were TWO 3-year scholarships to the following schools:
Embry Riddle Aeronautical University (FL campus) -- ACCEPTED
University of Maryland -- NOT ACCEPTED

Stats are as follows:
GPA: 3.84(uw)/4.85(weighted)
Class Rank: Top ... 11%
SAT: 470(R) + 620(M) + 490(W)
ACT: 23(english) + 24(math) + 25(reading) + 23(science)

Thank you for your kind words; albeit I will be attending Penn State this fall (sorry, forgot to mention that in the post!) Lovely school though + full tuition, but kinda too far from Pennsylvania for me.
 
4 Year Scholarship

Received 4 year scholarship to Hampden-Sydney. First choice school. Still waiting on SA status. Applying to USMA, USNA, USAFA.

Best of luck for the SAs. However, you cannot go wrong with H-SC. DS1 graduated from there last year and LOVED IT. He did not do AROTC but had great friends on the CC team that did.
 
Thanks FinFan. I went there during my junior year and loved it. I am really happy with my "back-up" plan but really want to go to USMA.
