I have had all of my required papers and such in to CC for a while now. I conducted the interview with the PMS @ RIT, but the website, the scholarship status website, that is, has still not updated. The interview was done back in November. I'm getting nervous :frown:

Does it still say "you may schedule an interview..."?

Yes, it still does. It has since November :frown:

You have been rolled over to the next board.

The next board is March 8th.

Of course after reading a few of the latest post, who knows anymore.

March 8 board

I completed and submitted my AROTC package in late November and so far I haven't received any confirmation or any sort of disclosure for my scholarship application. A lot of people have been posting some of their stats on these threads and letting people determine their chances so here are some of my stats. 5'9" 165 pounds for my PFT I did the 1 1 1 push ups= 47 sit ups=56 mile run=6:35
My GPA is a 3.1 (unweighted) I wrestled varsity for 3yrs at a 6a school. I played JV baseball. Some of the classes I am enrolled in are AP Physics AP Statistics and Calculus plus the required senior classes. My SAT was a bit low a 1510combined a 1050reading/math I thought I was a competitive candidate for this scholarship but now i'm not sure. I have already been accepted to Oregon State's Pre-Civil Engineering program.. these are some of my stats please comment and be truthful
Thank you God bless

In the past 3.1 GPA and 1050 SAT would have been satisfactory for an AROTC scholarship. The last couple of years the competition has been strong.

Whatever happens at the board DO NOT GIVE UP. Join the ROTC on campus and turn up fit and ready in the fall.

Check it out...your stats look just like everyone else's...There are so many variables in this process that sharing your stats with us is an exercise in futility. When was the last time you talked to the ROO at the school you want to attend. What did she/he tell you were your chances of getting a scholarship to their school. That is the only thing that will have any relevance. We appreciate you asking questions on the forum, but no one here can tell you what your chances are.

If you haven't received an offer letter by now, then I'm 99.9% sure you won't be receiving one on this round. Letters have already gone out. So you have about another month to wait. If you haven't received an offer by now, you need to talk to a ROO at the school you want to attend ASAP. If it is at a school you can't afford without the scholarship you need to also talk to the ROO at the school you can afford, and talk about doing ROTC without the scholarship (if you really want to be an Army Officer). Every applicant who hasn't received an offer yet needs to talk to their ROO's.

Ok

Thanks for your honesty I will contact the AROTC branch at Oregon State. I am not sure what ROO stands for?

Recruiting Operations Officer, or typically some title with recruitment in it. Look on their website for correct person/title. Email may also be a good first contact. Good luck.

Ok

I think at OSU the department of military science is my best bet. Thanks for the answers everyone!

My son's status is the same as yours. I dont think that we will see any change in the status..I ask Cadet Command about this and really got nothing out of the response except,we will let you know...I guess its not their job to worry about the status.CC says you may check your status online any time and so we expect to be able to do it and it doesnt work. Everyone is right about staying in touch with your schools of choice, they have been the best contacts for us. The latest news I have is the board did begin on time,,the 8th and will end on the 12th,with results being posted(WHATEVER THAT MEANS) 30 t0 40 days out from then...The ROO's are the ones who can tell you if you made it to the nmar board..hope it goes well for you...your stats look fine.
