The news won't be up for another couple of weeks according to an email I received from Cadet Command. They told me that the board met last week and this week they have to merge the OML scores from the last board and this board and decide the scholarships. She also said it would then be the week after that the notifications would start going out.

That sounds like:
1) Last week (ending Dec 4) the board met.
2) This week (ending Dec 11) they merge the OML scores and decide the scholarships.
3) Next week (ending Dec 18) the letters hit the mailbox.

Perhaps the online posting will occur at the end of this week or beginning of next???

i have been the mostly silent partner here as I read so many of your comments on various threads re: the ROTC scholarship road. I always feel so much more informed, comforted and encouraged when I read all of your posts, so THANK YOU! for sharing and including all of us in your journey.

I am a mom of an AROTC scholarship hopeful. He has applied to Virginia Tech - ED. So we'll find that out a week from today! He has had his file complete since the first board, so we are just waiting..

I have a comment: I had heard that the board was supposed to meet Dec. 1-4
but that got bumped to Dec. 7-10. (THIS week). Has anyone else heard that?

I was given the 1-4 from both Cadet Command and someone from ROTC at one of the colleges my son is looking at a few weeks ago. Who knows though, it could have gotten bumped.
Guess we just wait!

Yesterday my son got an email from the ROO at one of his schools stating...

blah blah blah...Your file was reviewed by a board at Cadet Command on 30NOV. We should know the results within 30 days... yada yada yada

So that leads me to believe the board did indeed meet last week.
