Here is an old article about how Arthur Ashe's younger brother, Johnnie.
According to the article, Johnnie, a Marine veteran, helped keep 2LT Arthur Ashe Stateside by volunteering for a second tour in Viet Nam. Apparently there was a law that prevented both siblings from being at a war zone concurrently. Johnnie Ashe survived the war and went on to retire as a Marine Captain.
