Hi Dr Mullen
My DS has completed his applications to USAFA and USNA and has completed the medical and vision tests at the contracted facilities as directed by DODMERB.
- Are there any additional steps he needs to take to ensure both USNA and USAFA receive those results or is the process seamless?
- Also if he applies for ROTC in the future does he have to do anything else medical wise? Sorry for the process questions, we did look up the faqs and didn't see the answer.

Google "DoDMERB;" Hit "Questions on the process;" Paragraph 4 is for you.......You're not the first and won't be the last...in the last 10 mins
DS....not parent...can log into DoDMERB and start his account to track his progress. He won't be able to access until we've done our intitial review which should be 3-4 days after www.dodmets.com says CLOSED.
DS should read the document under "Questions on the process."

it’s interesting to me that the USNA number are so high. I wonder if there are duplicate candidate records or emails in the system which inflates thnumber?
I say this because DS gets duplicate emails from USNA fairly regularly. He was invited to CVW and attended in January. He was then “invited “ to CVW 2 more times. He attended Virtual NASS, and has been invited to Virtual CVW 2 times
Finally, after you helped him get his location sorted out for DodMerb, he received 3 emails letting him know that he should sign up at Dodmets.com
