How is the relationship between males and females?
Generally it’s good. There are always exceptions, but as far as sexual assault or harassment goes, from my experience, it is rare. Also, since SHARP (sexual harassment & assault response and prevention) is the Army’s #1 priority, and accusations are dealt with immediately. It’s not a perfect system and it is still a college environment, but most people are very cautious here.
You can date anyone in your class as a plebe, then the upper 3 classes can date anyone who is not a plebe.
What stuff did you do in and outside of high school that you think contributed to getting into the Academy?
Student council, good grades, decent SATs, team captain, did well on CFA. Those are the biggest points. Just keep working on the 3 pillars for your app (leadership, academic and physical).
Do you have any information on the WP Sailing team?
I have a friend on the team. I know that they are pretty good, had open tryouts, are a club team (don’t have full authos this year but may change next year) and are a really close group. Other than that, not too much, but there will be lots of information floating around for clubs during reorgy week after beast.

Plebes are not allowed to be friends with, date or really have any unprofessional relationship with an upperclassman. That means you can’t be facebook friends, you have to use rank, you have to use the same military courtesies you would in virtual communications (email, text) that you would in person. If you are on a team/club with them then it's different. It's normally for a plebe and upperclassman dating or hooking up.
So if someone suspects someone is ‘fratting’ they will open an investigation. If they are found to have an inappropriate relationship (dating, ect) then they will get a frat board. Frat boards are brigade level and result in a lot of hours.
