I was emailing my regional admissions counselor and after he answered my questions he gave me the information of another lieutenant located not at the Academy, who he said would be my new admissions counselor. It's been some time and the contact on my portal has not changed. I'm not gonna try to read into this as I doubt it's anything significant to do with my application, but I can't help but wonder why I was assigned someone else. Has anyone had this happen to them?

Happens all the time. More than likely either your old admissions counselor is getting out of the Navy, PCSing (moving) or moving to another spot in admissions.

Can I ask what region you are in?

Use the same email address or write the former admissions counselor.
