ASTB-E test

Hi everyone, been a while since I’ve been here. Anyway my son just took this test for the 1st time. Does anyone know the selection criteria for flight school? This , GPA anything else?
If there’s a better forum for this question, please point me in the right direction.

Minimum score for pilot: AQR-5/PFAR-6.
Minimum score for NFO: AQR-5/FOFAR-6.
Min GPA: 2.5

All in all, regardless of scores, it is dependent on the needs of the Navy and they will decide which community your son is placed in. I know kids who scored well who didnt get selected...I know kids who carried 4.0 GPA who got subs instead...I have a Naval Aviator who was fortunate to get selected to Aviation...I have another son who is a junior who will find out his community in the Fall...he wants Aviation and scored well on the ASTB, but he knows there are no guarantees...its up to the Navy.
