Average 7th Semester Grades

Hello all,

I just had a quick question about 7th semester transcripts...

Through 6 semesters, I have attained a 4.00 UW GPA with 4 AP classes and multiple honors courses. However, this first semester of senior year I received a B in AP Macro Econ, B in AP English, and a C in AP Calculus AB. I currently hold a nomination from Illinois Senator Durbin and also an IL- 03 nomination from Congresswoman Newman.

Will these grades make a poor effect to my WCS? From what I've heard, USMA likes to use the 7th semester as a check-up on courses taken rather than a tool to seperate candidates for appointments, in reason.

I have been extremely stressed out about this concern, but I continue to try and reassure myself that USMA will understand because of the challenges those AP courses present. If anyone is willing to provide more info, that would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
 
I had the same concerns for Kings Point as I had a B in Macro/C+ in Physics 1, so I contacted my admissions officer. I recommend doing the same, was very helpful and eased my stress greatly.
 
Does anyone know when we have to submit 7th semester grades by? My portal says you can start uploading beginning February 15th, but my 3Q letter says I should start uploading them now

they aren't going to take away anything, unless you're getting D's and F's. One C and a couple B's is not the end of the world.

From what I’ve read, USMA will send an “official correspondence” for 7th semester transcripts on February 15. I have been in contact with my RC and she told me to not worry about submitting them until then.

My 7th semester transcript was uploaded today. I was expecting them to be uploaded after February 15th, but I guess you are able to now. Hopefully the submittal of my transcript could possibly speed up a possible notification of appointment. I've been extremely eager to hear back from USMA.
 
I've held a 3Q letter for a while now. My emails with RC have sounded very promising. I asked her about joining NG to improve appointment chances and she told me not to because it would delay my potential admittance because I am a very strong candidate. She truthfully told me that for someone who didnt have a good chance, its a good option.
