My DS applied for a medical waiver after his conditional acceptance. His status just changed to awaiting receipt of Remedio. Does anyone know what this?

That happened on my status when I needed to submit information for a remedial. I just had to answer some quick questions about my broken arm in 6th grade, so not a big deal.

Remedial = aka - AMI (Additional medical information = Is a DoDMERB request, in your DS's case, from the USCGA Senior Medical Officer, to provide something needed for him to render his medical waiver recommendation. He should log into his account at the DoDMERB website

Thanks! There was a delay after the status change but later in the day he got the correspondence asking for more info. Getting him right on it!!!!

Tendinitis in the shoulder, first occurrence - is this disqualifying? Only seen by a chiropractor. @MullenLE

Not enough verifiable info to provide a truly informed response

FYI. My DS received his remedial instructions last friday. (need to see a specialist) And he has his appoinment setup. Keeping fingers crossed.

Good luck to him. We are in the same process, waiting for a remedial appointment for re-evaluation. Fingers crossed, it's been a long wait already!
